Server Connections
WearSSH stores your server profiles locally on the watch (Room database) so you can reconnect in one tap.
Adding a server
Section titled “Adding a server”Each server profile has:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Display label for the server list |
| Host | IP address or hostname |
| Port | TCP port, default 22 |
| Username | SSH login user |
| Auth type | PASSWORD or KEY |
| Favorite | Pin the server to the top of the list |
Authentication
Section titled “Authentication”- Password — stored securely on-device via
PasswordStore. - Key — select any key generated or imported in SSH Keys.
Favorites
Section titled “Favorites”Mark frequently used servers as favorites so they surface first — useful when you manage more than a couple of hosts from a small screen.
Phone sync
Section titled “Phone sync”If you have the companion phone app installed, servers you add or edit on the watch are pushed to the phone automatically over the Wear OS Data Layer API. This is one-way (watch → phone), so the phone app is a synced viewer, not a second place to create servers. See Phone Companion App.
